One man come to Prophet ﷺ and invites him ﷺ to his house for dinner. It is the habit of Rasool ALLAH ﷺ to confirm about the no of persons for which the food has been prepared before going to the house for invitation. This day Rasool ALLAH ﷺ told this person that Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا) will also accompany the prophet ﷺ and if he accept this or not? This person told the Prophet ﷺ“I have only arranged the food for the Prophet ﷺ”. ALLAH’s Prophet relied “Than I do not accept your invitation”. This person went back to his house and came back again, again same discussion took place and he went back again. Third time he came after preparation and also invited Hazrat Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا), Rasool ALLAH ﷺ accept the invitation than. This is the best example of honoring wife. Encourage one’s wife in front of others. It is the habit of some men to mention their wives weakness in front of their in laws and friends. In fact this kind of attitude is the cause of disrespect to the husband instead of wife because in the Quran the example of husband and wife is like dress for each other. How can someone look respectful after making his own dress look dirty and tarnish? For sure not!
